Greetings and welcome to my little collection of photographs. Feel free to look around at photos of family, friends, vacations, occasions, cats and dogs, Coast Guard stuff and of course, flying machines of all descriptions. This collection will be a work in progress as long as I can hold a camera.
And please check out the newest section of this site, Bob's Blog. There, I'll comment on the photos, technique, equipment or whatever else is on my mind.

Bob Shafer has been making photographs ever since he got his first camera, which he purchased by sending in box tops of his favorite breakfast cereal, many, many years ago. Although he has somewhat better photo equipment these days, he still enjoys capturing light and and time in images.
Bob's aviation photographs have been published in the United States and Europe and he is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Photo Corp. He uses Canon camera products.
